What Can I Do If the Message "Unsupported components are installed.South floatIP set failed." Is Displayed After eSight Is Upgraded to V300R009C00SPC200 and Rolled Back

Question

What can I do if the message "Unsupported components are installed.South floatIP set failed." is displayed after eSight is upgraded to V300R009C00SPC200 and rolled back?

Answer

This problem may occur if the Custom Device Manager installed. The following takes the upgrade backup directory /opt/eSightbackup as an example to describe the solution:

1. Run the following commands as the root user to prepare for the next rollback:

# su - ossuser

> mv /opt/eSight/mttools/etc/systool/southip/blockcomponents_customdevice.properties /opt/eSight/mttools/etc/systool

# exit

# cd /opt/eSightbackup

# mkdir -p mttools/ha/var

# mkdir -p AppBase/sysagent/etc/sysconf/svcbase/

# rm -r /opt/eSightbackup/ommhaBackup

# cp -r /opt/ommha /opt/eSightbackup/ommhaBackup

# cp /opt/eSight/mttools/ha/var/ServerMode.xml mttools/ha/var

# cp /opt/eSight/AppBase/sysagent/etc/sysconf/svcbase/med_node_1_svc.xml AppBase/sysagent/etc/sysconf/svcbase/

# mv scripts/taskflow/rollback scripts/taskflow/rollbackha

# cat script/taskflow/rollbackha | grep -v "ROLLBACK" > scripts/taskflow/rollback

2. Execute the rollbackHA.sh script as the root user to repeat the rollback operation.
