Error 1007 Is Reported During SUSE Linux Installation After RAID Has Been Automatically Configured

Symptom

Error 1007 is reported, as shown in Figure 12-1, during SUSE Linux installation after RAID has been automatically configured.

Figure 12-1 SUSE Linux installation error prompt

Possible Causes

During tool-based RAID configuration, RAID initialization is slow when a hard disk has a fault or large capacity. When the RAID tool displays the message "All configuration completed successfully", the initialization is not complete, and the system is still initializing the hard disk. As a result, a partition exception occurs during operating system installation.

Procedure

  1. Click Continue. The SUSE Linux operating system will automatically complete hard disk initialization.
