Creating a QoS Performance Collection Task

Creating a QoS Performance Collection Task

You can create QoS performance collection tasks based on basic network or service indicators to check and monitor the running status and trend of the network and QoS services in a past period of time. In this way, you can optimize the performance of the network and QoS services and ensure that they run properly.

Procedure

  1. Choose Performance > Monitoring Settings from the main menu.

  2. Create a QoS performance collection task.

    1. Click a node under QoS in the navigation tree on the left and select a QoS monitoring mode.

    2. Click Create, set task information and performance counters, and select resources to be monitored.
    3. Click OK. A QoS performance collection task is created.
    NOTE:
    • If a large number of counters and resources are selected, the collection task takes effect several minutes later. After the task takes effect, the system collects data by the collection period. You can choose Monitor > Performance Management > Performance Data and view the collected data.
    • When counters of a collection object are involved in collection tasks of different periods, the collection task created the last is used.
