eSight provides an IPSec VPN service management component to help you monitor IPSec VPN services and locate faults.

Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) is a standard network security protocol that delivers transparent security services for IP network communications and protects TCP/IP communications from being eavesdropped and tampered with, which effectively defends against network attacks. IPSec is favored by enterprises due to its advantages in flexibility, security, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.

An IPSec VPN provides powerful functions but has a large number of dispersed devices. The devices are difficult to manage, and their faults cannot be located and rectified promptly. Enterprises face the following challenges:

  • The logical structure of an IPSec VPN cannot be visually displayed.
  • The operating status and performance of an IPSec VPN are difficult to monitor.
  • Faults in IPSec VPN services cannot be promptly located.

To tackle these challenges, eSight provides an IPSec VPN service management component to enable unified resource management and all-round IPSec VPN service management.

  • The IPSec VPN service topology visually displays the logical structure of an IPSec VPN.
  • The IPSec VPN service monitoring function monitors the status, traffic, and trend of IPSec VPN tunnels.
  • The IPSec VPN service diagnosis function helps enterprises locate and rectify faults.
