Sample: Locating Data Centers with Abnormal Health Status

You can use eSight to locate service fault causes when detecting that the health status of a data center is abnormal.

Applicable Products and Versions

eSight V300R005C00 and later versions.

Scenario Assumption

During region monitoring, users report that the health status of a data center under Shenzhen DC is abnormal.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resource > Virtual Resources from the main menu.
  2. Choose Virtual Resources > Region Monitor in the navigation area on the left.
  3. In the navigation tree on the left, choose All Regions > ShenZhen DC.
  4. In the data statistics area under the region monitoring view, click Clusters11 whose Status is Risk, and enter the view for abnormal clusters.
  5. On the Host load tab page, Click the indicator statistics chart with an abnormal loading rate. The server or VM list is displayed under the chart.
  6. Confirm that host 10.137.62.94 is abnormal. Appropriate treatment based on the data page displayed abnormal.
