What Can I Do If an Agile Report on eSight Contains No Data?

What Can I Do If an Agile Report on eSight Contains No Data?

The eSight server is powered off unexpectedly while eSight is working properly. After the server is powered on and eSight is restarted again, an agile report contains no data.

Possible Causes

The agile report data storage files are damaged when the server is powered off. After the server is restarted, an exception occurs when the Agile Reporter process reads the data storage files, leading to empty data in an agile report.

  1. Delete the existing agile report data storage files.

When eSight is running, delete the existing agile report data storage files in eSight installation directory/AppBase/UniBI_Server/unibi-solutions/system/molap/store.

  2. Start eSight Console.

    • Windows: Choose Start > eSight > eSight Console.
    • Linux: Log in to the eSight server as the root user, switch to the ossuser user, and execute in eSight installation directory/AppBase/Unibi_Server/tools/lib/.

  3. Collect data from the service database using Agile Report Data Synchronization Tool to generate agile report data storage files.

Select the schedule for data synchronization as required.

  4. Click Synchronize. The task is executed.

You can normally use the Agile Reporter after data synchronization is complete.
