Viewing Details of a Transport Device

You can view basic information about a microwave device. In addition, you can go to the LCT page of the device to view and configure more attributes and functions of the device.


  1. Go to the microwave device details page in either of the following ways:

    • Through the microwave device management page
      1. Choose Resource > Transport from the menu bar to go to the microwave device management page.
      2. Click the device.

    • Through the main topology
      1. Choose Topology > Topology Management from the menu bar to go to the main topology page.
      2. Right-click a microwave device and choose Device Information from the shortcut menu, or double-click a microwave device.

  2. Choose View > Basic Information in the navigation tree on the left to view basic information about the device.

  3. Choose View > Alarm List from the navigation pane to view the alarm information of the NE.

  4. Choose Device Config > Web NMS in the navigation tree on the left, enter the user name and password of the device, and click Login to go to the Web page of the device.


    The eSight server and devices must be directly connected. A device cannot be created on eSight by forwarding the device IP address. Otherwise, the Web page of the device cannot be accessed.

  5. View and configure device functions on the Web page, including NE attribute query, time synchronization, time zone setting, communications parameter management, alarm browsing, and device user management.
