Monitoring OLT

Monitoring OLT

Generally, OLTs are placed in the equipment room and they seldom become faulty. An OLT fault is mostly likely caused by the card fault, which is reflected on the interface. You are advised to monitor the OLT's interface status.


Monitoring of eSight on OLT includes the following aspects:

  • OLT device status
  • Ethernet interface status
  • UNI interface status


  1. Monitor the OLT device status.

    1. Choose Resource > PON from the main menu.
    2. Choose PON Resource > Equipment from the navigation tree on the left.

    3. View the OLT device status in the Status column.

  2. Monitor the Ethernet and UNI interface status.

    Click the name next to a specific OLT in the OLT list. The OLT's NE Manager is displayed. View the Ethernet and UNI interface status.
