Know the server access protocol.

Know the access protocols, connection modes, and default parameters supported by different server types to improve efficiency.

Methods and Protocols Used for Adding Server Devices

(Optional) Set protocol parameters for the servers.

Set the protocol parameters for the servers so that they can communicate with eSight. If the servers use the default protocol parameters, you do not need to set the parameters.

Setting Server Protocol Parameters

Servers can connect to eSight in three modes: automatic discovery, single adding, and batch import for centralized manner.

Manage the servers.

On eSight, you can view the basic information, alarms, and health status of servers, and perform operations such as moving a server to a subnet, deleting a server, and modifying basic information.
