Setting eService Alarm Notification

Setting eService Alarm Notification

A user can set the returned alarm severity and email address of the cloud-end management system by setting eService alarm notifications.

Procedure

  1. On the main menu bar, choose Fault > Alarm Settings.
  2. In the left navigation tree, choose Alarm Settings > eService Alarm Notification.

  3. Click View Contents to read the license agreement, and select I have read and agree to the license agreement.
  4. Set Remote Maintenance Status to Enable or Disable.

    • If Remote Maintenance Status is set to Enable, you can remotely maintain site devices after the site information is configured.
    • If Remote Maintenance Status is set to Disable, the remote maintenance function is unavailable.

  5. Set the status in Message encryption. The status options include Enabled and Disabled.

    • Enabled: Enable the mail encryption function.
    • Disabled: Disable the mail encryption function.
    NOTE:

    If the public key file is replaced for the eService server. You need to obtain the new key file rsapk.pem and replace the public key file in eSight installation directory\AppBase\lib\resources\default_data.

  6. Set Module to Storage or Server.
  7. Set Alarm Severity to Critical, Major, Minor, or Event.
  8. In Email, enter the email addresses of the alarm notification recipients according to customer categories and regions.

    • For enterprises outside China: rocloudservice@huawei.com.
    • For carriers outside China: romaniacs@huawei.com.
    • For Chinese enterprises: cloudservice@huawei.com.
    • For Chinese carriers: cs.alarm.cn@huawei.com.

  9. Set the interval for eSight to send mails to eService in Heartbeat.
  10. Click Apply. You have finished setting the remote maintenance notification.
