Diagnosing Packet Loss of Cameras

eSight can diagnose packet loss of cameras to quickly locate faults, ensuring service stability.

Prerequisites

  • The switch functioning as the gateway has been added to eSight, and the switch supports fault diagnosis.
  • Intelligent video surveillance devices and cameras have been added to eSight.

Packet Loss Diagnosis

  1. Choose Resource > Intelligent Video Surveillance from the main menu.

  2. Choose Group Management > Business Map from the navigation tree.

  3. On the IPC Packet Loss Diagnosis tab page, select the devices on which you want to perform packet loss diagnosis and click.

  4. Select the switch that functions as the gateway, and click Detect Route.
  5. Click Detect and troubleshoot the fault based on diagnosis information.
