Connecting to a Third-Party System Using the NBI

The eSight can connect to third-party systems using SFTP/FTP, SNMP, and HTTPS.

The management capabilities of each interface are as follows:
  • FTP interface: Third-party systems can obtain eSight topology resource files and performance files through the FTP interface.
  • SNMP interface: Third-party systems can manage eSight alarms and query eSight resource information through SNMP interface.
  • Open APIs: Third-party systems can access eSight resources through Open APIs, for example: security management, NE access management, and alarm management. Open APIs require authorization and support only HTTPS access.
