Industry Terminal Configuration File

This topic describes how to manage configuration files.

Prerequisites

  • You have logged in to the eSight client.
  • You have obtained the Industry Terminal configuration file.
  • You have been assigned the operation rights.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resource > eLTE > Configuration File Management > Industry Terminal Configuration File from the main menu.
  2. Click, and enter the basic information and select a configuration file on the page that is displayed.

    1. Set Configuration file name, Remarks, Applicable Product Model, and Support all versions in Basic Information.

      If Support all versions is set to OFF, set Firmware version supported by the Industry Terminal.

    2. Click next to Configuration file to select a configuration file.
      NOTE:

      By default, the maximum number of uploaded industry terminal configuration files is 20000.

    3. Set Default Configuration File.
    4. Click OK.
    NOTE:

    If the default configuration file of the product model exists on eSight and you have set Default Configuration File to ON, a confirm dialog box is displayed. To make the current configuration file become the new default configuration file, click Yes.

Follow-up Procedure

After you create a configuration file successfully, you can perform the following operations on the Industry Terminal Configuration File page.

Query information

You can perform this operation to query information about configuration file.

  1. Specify the search criteria, including Product model, Firmware version number, and Default.
  2. Click Search. Information about configuration file is displayed on the current page.
  3. Click a task name. Information about the task you query is displayed on a new page.

Set as the default configuration file

You can perform this operation to set the current configuration file as the default configuration file.

  1. Click in the Operation of targer configuration file.
    NOTE:

    If the default configuration file of the product model exists on eSight , a confirm dialog box is displayed. To make the current configuration file become the new default configuration file, click Yes.

  2. Click Yes.

Modify information

You can modify information in the configuration file.

  1. Click next to the target configuration file. A new page is displayed.
  2. Modify configuration file information on the page that is displayed.
  3. Click OK.

If a configuration file is in use, you cannot modify its information.

Delete information

You can perform this operation to delete this configuration file.

  • Delete a single configuration file.
    1. Click next to the target configuration file.
    2. Click Yes in the Confirm dialog box.
  • Delete configuration files in a batch.
    1. Select configuration files you want to delete.
    2. Click.
    3. Click Yes in the Confirm dialog box.
  • If a configuration file is in use, you cannot delete it.
  • When you perform a batch deletion operation, you can only delete selected configuration files that are not in use.

Download a configuration file.

You can download a configuration file to back it up.

  1. Click next to the target configuration file.
  2. Select a path for saving the configuration file and click Save.
