Question

To isolate the network for uPortal SSO to access eSight from that for locally accessing eSight, you can modify the NGINX proxy to isolate the network access of port 31943.

Answer

The operations on the SUSE Linux operating system and Windows are similar. The SUSE Linux is taken as an example.

NOTE:

After the operation is successful, if uPortal SSO is connected to eSight, you need to enter the IP address of the isolation network on uPortal.

  1. Log in to the eSight server as the ossuser user.
  2. Run the following commands to add the uPortal SSO network isolation configuration.

    cd eSight installation directory/AppBase/app/com.huawei.oms.app.terminal/install/upgrade/script/linux

    ./addSSONginxCfg.sh

    The following information is displayed:

    please input uPortal sso login IP:Enter the IP address provided for uPortal SSO. 
    please input eSight login IP:Enter the IP address for locally accessing eSight.

    After the command is successfully executed, the following information is displayed:

    successful

  3. Restart eSight for the configuration to take effect.
