MML Script

MML Script

This function can be used to create a task of delivering MML commands in batches.

Prerequisites

  • You have logged in to the eSight client
  • You have MML script delivering right.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resource > eLTE > Configuration Deployment > MML Script from the main menu.
  2. Click Create Task.
  3. Set task parameters based on the site requirements.

    1. Set Task Name.
    2. Select Scheduled Time.
      1. The Run Now parameter is enabled by default, indicating that a task is immediately executed after being created.
      2. If the task does not need to be executed immediately, disable the Run Now parameter. Then, click next to Scheduled Time and select the time point to execute the task.
    3. Select Ignore or Stop to set whether the system stops executing the task upon an error.
      NOTE:

      The Ignore parameter is selected by default.

  4. Select script File.

    • Click next to MML Script File, select the prepared file and click Open.

  5. Select device version and device.

    1. In Select Device Version, select a device version.

      Devices list are displayed.

    2. Select or Delect devices for being delivered the MML script.

  6. Click OK.

Follow-up Procedure

After the task is created, you can perform the following operations on the MML Script page.

  1. Click on the search bar.
  2. Set the search criteria on the page that is displayed.
    • Select State.
    • Set Device Version.
    • Set Task Name.
    • Select Start Time, Scheduled Time
    • In More, click Creator, and enter the search criteria.
  3. Click Search.

View Scripts

  1. In the Operation column of a task, click.
  2. In the dialog box that is displayed, scripts details are displayed.

Start Task

  • Start a single task.

    In the Operation column of a task, click.

  • Start tasks in a batch.
    1. Select tasks you want to start.
    2. Click Start above the list.

Stop Task

  • Stop a single task.

    In the Operation column of a task, click.

  • Stop tasks in a batch.
    1. Select tasks you want to stop.
    2. Click Stop above the list.

Delete Task

  • Delete a single task

    In the Operation column of a task, click.

  • Delete in batches
    1. Select tasks to delete.
    2. Click Delete Task in the upper part of the table.

Task Details

Click task to be delivered in the task list to access the device task details page, you can perform the following operations on the device task details page.

  • Search Device
    1. Click on the search bar.
    2. Set the search criteria on the page that is displayed.

      Set Device Name, IP Address.

    3. Click.
  • View Device Task Results

    In the Fail/Success column of a device, click the number of command.

    You can also click of the Operation column.
