Why Error 403 Is Displayed When I Open the WebLMT from an eNodeB Manager?

Answer

When an eNodeB and users are not within the same network, the LMT cannot access the eNodeB directly. In this case, users can open the WebLMT through the eNode Manager, which is the proxy capability provided by eSight.

To enhance system security, the proxy server checks whether the user name, password, source IP address, and destination IP address are in the whitelist when users try to open the WebLMT through the proxy. If no, the proxy server returns error 403.

By default, the system does not offer a proxy authentication user account, and source and destination IP address ranges are empty, indicating that no user is allowed to access any device through the proxy.
