Typical Configuration Examples

Typical Configuration Examples

This section describes typical configuration examples in typical application scenarios, helping users complete various operations based on the actual scenarios.

Viewing Device Information Using a Non-Preintegrated MIB File

This section describes how to quickly obtain device data through the MIB node by assuming that users want to view MIB files not integrated on eSight.

Scenario

Administrator John wants to view the ACL group description of the H3C S8508-EI devices through MIB management. Table 12-17 describes device parameters. Since the MIB is not integrated with eSight, John obtains the private MIB file and private MIB mapping table from a device vendor engineer. Table 12-18 describes the mapping relationships.
