Managing the Terminal Certificate

The certificate upload operation is required for certificate update or when a customer wants to use its own certificate. You can quickly replace the certificate file using the certificate upload function.


  • You have the right to operate the Certification Management menu.
  • The root certificate, certification store, and keystore password files are available.


The certificate file provided by eSight brings security risks. You are advised to replace the built-in certificate file with your own certificate to improve information security.

  • Each eSight system has a unique root certificate, used to verify devices and applications.

    The root certificate of a device must be the same as the root certificate on the eSight.

  • certification store is used is used by the eSight itself for encrypted data transmission.
  • Keystore password is used to check whether the certification store is valid or not. When the value of Keystore password is same as the Keystore password which is uploading, the certificate store will upload successfully.


  1. Choose Resource > Collaboration > Collaboration Management > Terminal Device Management from the main menu.

  2. In the navigation tree on the left, choose Terminal Device Management > System Configuration.
  3. In eSight Upload Certificate area, specify the paths of the Root Certificate, Certification Sore, and enter the Keystore Password.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Restart the eSight for the new certificates to take effect.
