Industry Terminal Task Management

Industry Terminal Task Management

This topic describes how to load configuration files.

Prerequisites

  • You have logged in to the eSight client.
  • You have obtained the Industry Terminal configuration file or a Industry Terminal configuration file has been created on eSight.
  • You have been assigned the operation rights.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resource > eLTE > Configuration File Management > Industry Terminal Task Management from the main menu.
  2. Click to create a task.

    1. Set Task Name in Task Settings.
    2. Set Scheduled Task.
      • If you set Scheduled Task to ON, set Scheduled Time manually.
      • If you set Scheduled Task to OFF, eSight performs the upgrade task immediately.

  3. Select devices and files.

    1. Click in Select Device and select managed objects on the page that is displayed.
    2. You can select required file from the target file drop-down list box.
      NOTE:

      You can use the default target file.Sorting rules as shown below.

    3. Click OK.

  4. Click OK.

Follow-up Procedure

After you load a configuration file successfully, you can perform the following operations on the Industry Terminal Task Management page.

Task

Operator

Query task

You can perform this operation to query information about configuration file loading tasks.

  1. Specify the search criteria, including Task Name, Creation Mode, and Task Status.
  2. Click Search. Information about configuration file loading is displayed on the current page.
  3. Click a task name. Information about the task you query is displayed on a new page.

Save task

You can perform this operation to remove and save configuration file loading tasks before clearing it.

  • Save a single configuration file loading task.
    1. Click next to the target task.
    2. Click Yes in the Confirm dialog box.
  • Save multiple configuration file loading tasks in a batch.
    1. Select the tasks you want to save.
    2. Click History above the task list.
    3. Click Yes in the Confirm dialog box.

Stop task

You can perform this operation to stop configuration file loading tasks.

  • Stop a single task.
    1. Click next to the target task.
    2. Click Yes in the Confirm dialog box.
  • Stop multiple tasks in a batch.
    1. Select the tasks you want to stop.
    2. Click Stop Task above the task list.
    3. Click Yes in the Confirm dialog box.

Retry task

You can perform this operation to restart configuration file loading tasks.

  • Load a single configuration file.
    1. Click next to the target task.
    2. Click Yes in the Confirm dialog box.
  • Load multiple configuration files in a batch.
    1. Select the tasks you want to retry.
    2. Click Retry Task task list.
    3. Click Yes in the Confirm dialog box.

Export task

You can perform this operation to export the configuration file loading task for a backup if necessary.

  1. Click next to the target task.
  2. Select a path for saving the configuration file and click Save.
