Restrictions

Restrictions

  • The DST is not supported for the busy hour setting of the agile report.
  • The agile report function does not support IPv6 addresses.
  • Ensure that the eSight server configuration meets the requirements. Otherwise, low query speed and other problems may occur. To ensure normal performance, the disk read and write rate must exceed 8 MB/s, the IOPS must reach 10,000, the average read and write latency must be less than 10 milliseconds, and the latency at peak hours must be less than 30 milliseconds.
  • The number of data records queried and exported in a single report is determined by the physical memory. If the physical memory is less than 128 GB, a maximum of 100000 records are supported by default. If the physical memory size is greater than or equal to 128 GB, a maximum of 500000 records are supported by default. In a periodic task, you can select a time range-based report and set the export format to CSV. The maximum size of the exported CSV file is 100 MB.
  • If report data query is slow due to large data volume or heavy computing load, you need to wait.
  • You are advised to disable the automatic update function to ensure proper running of Agile Reporter. If the automatic update function is enabled, report data query may slow down, and you need to wait.
  • You are advised to select no more than 5 dimensions when using the classification function. If more than 5 dimensions are selected, the large volume of calculation will take a long time and you need to wait.
  • The report query efficiency depends on not only the number of equivalent NEs, but also the service data amount. Larger amount of service data takes longer time to query.
  • If the IP address control policy is configured for user accounts, you need to add the eSight IP address to the control policy. Otherwise, the agile reports cannot be accessed.
  • To ensure proper eSight running, follow the instructions in the Upgrade Guide to upgrade eSight. If the upgrade fails, use the procedure in the document to perform rollback.
  • The data of three attributes (BOM code, English description, and production date) in the board information statistics data source is obtained from the electronic label data.
  • In the statistics scenario where the alarm report contains the time dimension, the alarm statistics are collected nine hours before report installation completion.
  • The board performance statistics report collects only board performance of Huawei devices and some H3C devices. The report cannot collect board performance of other vendors such as Cisco.
  • If the eSight service is started again after being stopped for a period of time, the agile report system needs to synchronize the report data to the latest one, which takes some time. The time required for synchronizing data is in direct proportion to the period when the eSight service is stopped.
  • If the time zone of the eSight server is changed, you need to reset the time zone to be queried on the report editing page when you query agile reports to ensure that the time zone is the same as the current server time zone.
  • Ne Inventory, Performance, and Terminal Resource in data sources support only network devices and do not support servers of any version. The number of resources on the entire network can be measured in Resource. These resources include server resources, regardless of the server version.
