Possible Causes

Possible causes of the ETH_APS_PATH_MISMATCH alarm are as follows:

  • The configured working and protection paths differ between both ends.
  • The physical link is connected incorrectly.

Procedure

  1. On the U2000, check whether the APS settings at both ends are the same.
  2. If they are different, modify the settings so that they are the same. Then, deactivate and activate the APS protection groups at both ends. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.
  3. If the alarm persists, go to 4.
  4. Check whether a fiber or cable is correctly connected between both ends. If not, connect the fiber or cable correctly.
