The packet linear MSP protocol is stopped and MSP fails. As a result, channelized STM-1 services cannot be protected.

The possible cause of this alarm is as follows:

  1. Cause: The APS protocol for the alarmed protection group is manually stopped.
    1. Determine the ID of the MSP group whose APS protocol is stopped.
    2. Restart the MSP protocol for the MSP group.
    3. Check whether the alarm is cleared. If the alarm persists, contact Huawei technical support personnel to handle the alarm.
