Description

The NESOFT_MM alarm indicates that the NE software versions in the active and standby system control units are inconsistent.

Parameters

When you view an alarm on the network management system, select the alarm. In the Alarm Details field display the related parameters of the alarm. The alarm parameters are in the following format: Alarm Parameters (hex): parameter1 parameter2...parameterN. For details about each parameter, refer to the following table.

Parameter 1

  • 0x01: files in the flash memory
  • 0x02: software that is running

Parameter 2 and Parameter 3

Indicate the IDs of inconsistent files in the active system control unit.

Parameter 4

Indicates the alarm cause.

  • 0x04: The versions of files in the active and standby areas (OFS1 and OFS2) of a system control unit are inconsistent.
  • 0x08: The versions of files in the active and standby system control units are inconsistent, or the files in the corresponding directories of the active and standby system control units have different names.
  • 0x0C: The versions of files in the active and standby areas of a system control unit are inconsistent, and the versions of files in the active and standby system control units are inconsistent.

Impact on the System

  • The active/standby switching of the system is affected.
  • If the NE software does not exist in the flash memory, the system cannot restart after the system is powered off or reset.
