The LP_T_FIFO alarm indicates that FIFO overflow on the transmit side of the lower order path.

Equipment alarm


When you view an alarm on the network management system, select the alarm. In the Alarm Details field display the related parameters of the alarm. The alarm parameters are in the following format: Alarm Parameters (hex): parameter1 parameter2...parameterN. For details about each parameter, refer to the following table.

Name Meaning

Parameter 1

This parameter is ineffective. It has a fixed value of 0x01.

Parameter 2, Parameter 3

Indicates the path ID.

Impact on the System

Bit errors occur in lower order services of the board.

Possible Causes

Possible causes of this alarm are as follows:

  • The service cross-connections are incorrectly configured.
  • The services received by the board are incorrect.


  1. View the LP_T_FIFO alarm on the U2000, and check whether the service configurations on the board that reports the LP_T_FIFO alarm and the NE are correct. If the service configurations are incorrect, modify the service configurations and check whether the alarm is cleared.
  2. If the alarm persists, check whether the services received by the board are correct. After ensuring that the services are correct, check whether the alarm is cleared.
  3. If the alarm persists, replace the board.
