MPLS_PW_LCK

Description

The MPLS_PW_LCK alarm indicates that the PW server layer is locked. This alarm is reported when an MEP receives a locked signal function (LCK) packet from its upstream NE, indicating that the PW server layer is locked and the MPLS_PW_LOCV alarm is suppressed.

Possible Causes

The possible cause of this alarm is as follows:

Cause: The PW server layer (tunnel) is locked.

As shown in Figure 4-9, a command to lock the tunnel layer is issued on MEP2 and MEP2 reports an MPLS_TUNNEL_LOCK alarm and inserts PW LCK packets to the PW layer. After receiving PW LCK packets from MEP2, MEP3 reports an MPLS_PW_LCK alarm. The PW server layer is locked and the MPLS_PW_LOCV alarm is suppressed.

Procedure

  1. Cause: The PW server layer (tunnel) is locked.
    1. Check the PW server layer path and unlock the tunnel layer. For details, see Configuring LCK of MPLS-TP PW OAM.
    2. Check whether the alarm is cleared. If the alarm persists, contact Huawei technical support personnel to handle the alarm.
