Possible Causes

The possible cause of this alarm is as follows:

The tributary board is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Perform a cold reset on the tributary board or reseat the tributary board.
  2. When the board is functioning properly, check on the U2000 whether the BUS_LOC alarm is cleared.

    If... Then...
    If this alarm is cleared No further action is required.
    If this alarm persists Go to the next step.

  3. The tributary board is faulty. Replace the faulty board.

    Replacing the tributary board interrupts services. Exercise caution when performing this operation. Before replacing the tributary board, ensure that the type of signals received by the new tributary board is consistent with that of the tributary board to be replaced.
