Impact on the System

The SECU_ALM alarm indicates that the system control, switching, and timing board reports a security alarm of unauthorized login. If wrong user passwords are entered for five consecutive times, the user account is locked for the time being. In this case, wait for 900 seconds and then try to log in again.

This alarm does not affect the system and will be cleared automatically.

Possible Causes

The possible cause of the SECU_ALM alarm is as follows:

  • The password is incorrectly entered for five consecutive times during the login, or the user name does not exist.
  • A board is faulty.

  1. Obtain the correct user name and password from the administrator. After the user account is unlocked, log in again.
  2. If login attempts fail, contact Huawei technical support engineers for handling the alarm.
