Check and correction

Impact on the System

If bit errors occur in the services, identify the causes and rectify the fault immediately. Otherwise, alarms will be generated and the signal transmission quality will be affected.

Possible Causes

The T1_LCV_SDH event shows the count of detected code violations at the line side of T1 services.

External causes:

  • The fiber performance is degraded, and the fiber has high attenuation.
  • The fiber connector is dirty or incorrect.
  • The equipment is poorly grounded.
  • There is a severe interference source around the equipment.
  • The working temperature is high or low, and the opposite equipment cannot tolerate such temperature.

Equipment problems:

  • The service code pattern is incorrect.
  • The board is faulty or the performance deteriorates.

Relevant Alarms

  1. Eliminate external causes, such as poor grounding, high operating temperature, low or high received optical power of the line board.
  2. Check whether the T1 service code pattern is correct. If the T1 service code pattern is incorrect, modify the service code pattern that the board receives by setting the code pattern of the board.
  3. If the port of the tributary board is faulty, replace the board.
