The MPLS_PW_UNEXPPER is an alarm indicating that the PW does not receive CCM packets in the expected period. The MEP NE reports this alarm upon receiving an OAM packet with correct MEG level, MEG ID, and MEP ID in an unexpected period.

  1. The source MEP NE sends the connectivity detection packet that contains the CCM information to the sink MEP NE. CCM information includes the MEG level, MEG ID, and MEP ID of the source NE.
  2. The sink MEP NE compares the received CCM information with that configured on the NE. If the received information is in an unexpected period, the NE will report this alarm though MEG levels, MEG IDs, and MEP IDs are correct.

  3. Check whether the alarm is cleared. If the alarm persists, contact Huawei technical support engineers to handle the alarm.
