The W_OFFLINE alarm indicates that an ejector lever cannot be detected.

Equipment alarm


When you view an alarm on the network management system, select the alarm. In the Alarm Details field display the related parameters of the alarm. The alarm parameters are in the following format: Alarm Parameters (hex): parameter1 parameter2...parameterN. For details about each parameter, refer to the following table.

Parameter 1

  • 0x01: The upper ejector lever cannot be detected.
  • 0x02: The lower ejector lever cannot be detected.

Impact on the System

The board is not in good contact with the backplane, possibly causing serious faults. If 1+1 protection is configured for the system control, switching, and timing boards, an active/standby switchover may occur.

Possible Causes

  • Cause 1: The ejector lever is open.
  • Cause 2: The micro switch of the ejector lever is faulty.

    2. If the alarm persists, replace the board.
