The F1 data services are added to and dropped to NE1 and NE3 and are passed through NE2.
On the OptiX OSN 550, F1 data port is located on the AUX board, which can be inserted into a slot numbered from 1 to 6.Figure 2-83 shows the networking diagram for configuring the F1 data services.
- F1 data services are added and dropped on the F1 ports of the auxiliary interface boards on NE1 and NE3.
- F1 data services pass through NE2.
