Prerequisites

Tools, Equipment, and Materials

U2000

Procedure

  1. Choose Configuration > NE Batch configuration > NE License Authorization from the main menu.
  2. In the Choose License dialog box, select MSTP Series > Improves service transmission capability per 10Gbit/s(Per Unit)(Remaining license capacity:7999804). Click OK.

    NOTE:

The number of remaining licenses in Improves service transmission capability per 10Gbit/s(Per Unit)(Remaining license capacity:7999804) is equal to the total number minus the number of the licenses that the user purchases.

    NOTE:
HUNS3 boards support license: Improves service transmission capability per 10Gbit/s(Per Unit)(Remaining license capacity:7999804).

  3. In the NE License Authorization dialog box, select the NEs to which the license applies in Physical Topology on the right. Click .
  4. Configure the parameters of Improves service transmission capability per 10Gbit/s(Per Unit)(Remaining license capacity:7999804) as required for each NE. After the settings are complete, click Apply.

    NOTE:

As for the value of Improves service transmission capability per 10Gbit/s(Per Unit)(Remaining license capacity:7999804), B in A/B indicates the number of licenses allocated to the NE. The value ranges from 0 to the number of purchased licenses. The sum of Bs for all NEs requiring license allocation must be less than or equal to the number of purchased licenses. A in A/B indicates the number of licenses used by the NE. For a smart line board, one license corresponds to 10Gbit/s transmission capability. According to the network plan, manually set the mappings between the ports on a smart line board and the licenses. For how to configure the SDH/PKT virtual ports on a smart line board, see Configuring the Virtual Port of a Smart Line Board.

    • 1/10: Ten licenses on NE 9-5123 are available, of which oen have been used on 1x10G virtual ports.
