Prerequisites
- You are an NM user with Administrators rights or higher.
- The ports that carry services are set to Layer 1.
Procedure
- In the NE Explorer, select the required NE from the Object Tree and choose from the Function Tree.
- Click the Basic Attributes tab.
- Click New.
The New Serial Interface dialog box is displayed.
- Set the parameters for the serial port according to the planning information.
- Click OK. Then, close the dialog box that is displayed.
