Querying the Clock Trace Status

Correct clock trace relations are critical to the clock synchronization within the entire network. You can learn about and monitor the clock trace status of each NE by using the U2000.


You are an NM user with Guests rights or higher.


  1. Choose View > Main Topology from the Main Topology.
  2. Choose Clock View in the Current View drop-down list.
  3. Right-click in Clock View and choose Search Clock Link from the shortcut menu.
  4. In the Search Clock Link dialog box, click OK.
  5. If the clock trace relation changes, the Prompt dialog box is displayed, asking you whether to refresh the clock trace relation. Click Yes. When the search for the clock trace relation is complete, Clock View displays the refreshed clock trace status.
