Monitoring a Network
This section provides hyperlinks to operations of monitoring a network.
NOTE: - All the operations mentioned in this section are completed on the PowerCube 500 NE.
- The eSight is embedded with the link to the Web-based NMS system. Except topology management and query of basic NE information, other configuration operations on the eSight are completed by jumping to the Web-based built-in NMS system of the NE. Therefore, the configuration operations supported by the Web-based NMS system are also applicable to the eSight. The operation modes are the same.
- The Web LCT and U2000 have similar operation modes.
- Browsing Current Alarms
You can find the faults that occur on the equipment by browsing current alarms. - Browsing History Alarms
You can know the faults that occur on the equipment in a past period of time by browsing historical alarms. A historical alarm refers to an alarm that is already cleared.
