Installing BackupServer Component

Scenarios

This section describes how to install the BackupServer component.

Prerequisites

  • You have logged in to the cascading FusionSphere OpenStack management console (Region Type I scenario) or FusionSphere OpenStack management console (Region Type II scenario).

Procedure

  1. Log in to the FA-Pub-Backup VM using VNC as user root.
  2. Run the following commands and add a default route to the License server:

echo 'any net 0.0.0.0 netmask 0.0.0.0 gw DMZ_Service network plane gateway' >> /etc/sysconfig/static-routes

echo 'any cascaded external_relay_network address or external_relay_network address gw DMZ_Tenant network plane gateway dev eth1' >> /etc/sysconfig/static-routes

For example, if the gateway of the DMZ_Service network plane is 192.168.0.1, the cascaded external_relay_network address or external_relay_network address is 10.64.0.0/15, and the gateway of the DMZ_Tenant network plane is 10.125.0.1, run the following commands:

    echo 'any net 0.0.0.0 netmask 0.0.0.0 gw 192.168.0.1' >> /etc/sysconfig/static-routes

    echo 'any net 10.64.0.0/15 gw 10.125.0.1 dev eth1' >> /etc/sysconfig/static-routes

  3. Run the following command to edit the /etc/init.d/network file:

    vi /etc/init.d/network

  4. Press I to enter the editing mode, and add ip route delete default dev eth1 before exit $rc, as shown in Figure 4-60.

  5. Run the following command to restart network service.

    systemctl daemon-reload

    service network restart

    NOTE:

You can use SSH to log in to the VM using the IP address of the DMZ_Service network plane only after the route is configured.

  6. Enter startTools. The FusionAccess screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 4-61.
