Logging In to a Desktop from a Mobile Terminal

Scenarios

Log in to a user VM from a mobile terminal.

This task only supports mobile terminals that run the following operating system (OS):
  • Android 4.1.2 or later
  • iOS 8.0 or later
NOTE:

The data and specific procedure of the initial configuration can be customized based on the actual situation.

Procedure

Select a login method.

  1. Select a login method based on the OS installed on the mobile terminal.

    • For Android 4.1.2 or later, go to Step 2.
    • For iOS 8.0 or later, go to Step 10.

Log in to an Android user VM.

  1. Open a browser, and enter app.vmall.com in the address box to go to Huawei HiSpace Store.
  2. Enter fusionaccess in the search bar, and click Search.
  3. Download and install the fusionaccess application software.
  4. Click fusionaccess to go to the login page, and click Users.
  5. Click Add Users.
  6. Configure the cloud server IP address based on the data and specific procedure of the initial configuration.

    NOTE:

    The cloud server address is the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) or service plane IP address of the WI server. For FQDN, you need to configure the DNS server address.

  7. Enter the correct domain, user name, and password, and click save.

    NOTE:

    In multi-domain scenarios, enter the correct domain information to ensure successful login, for example, vdesktop.huawei.com.

  8. Click the account information. The system automatically switches to the virtual desktop login page, and then enters the virtual desktop.

    The task is complete.

Log in to an iOS user VM.

  1. Search fusionaccess using the App Store.
  2. Download and install the fusionaccess application software.
  3. Click fusionaccess to go to the login portal, and click Accounts.
  4. Click .
  5. Configure the cloud server IP address based on the data and specific procedure of the initial configuration.

    NOTE:

    The cloud server address is the FQDN or service plane IP address of the WI server. For FQDN, you need to configure the DNS server address.

  6. Enter the correct username, password, and domain information.

    NOTE:

    In multi-domain scenarios, enter the correct domain information to ensure successful login, for example, vdesktop.huawei.com.

  7. Click Save in the upper right corner.
  8. Return to the login page and click the account information to enter the virtual desktop.
