Checking Component Status

Checking Component Status

Scenarios

This section describes how to check component status on the FusionAccess interface of the cascaded ITA. If the component status is Normal, the software is installed successfully.

Prerequisites

You have logged in to the current tenant's FusionAccess management system.

Procedure

  1. On the FusionAccess page of the current tenant, choose Alarm > Status Check.
  2. Check whether the component status is Normal.

If the component status is not Normal, perform the following operations:

    • Clear the alarm as prompted.
    • Choose Alarm > System Alarm. Click Alarm Name that maps to Alarm Object and clear the alarm by taking recommended actions in the alarm help.
      NOTE:

If an OpenStack exception alarm is generated, perform the following steps:

      1. Log in to the management node FA-MGR-01 and run the following command to obtain the ECS domain name:

      grep ecs /etc/hosts

2.Run the following command to write the ECS access address to the ITA configuration file. For example, to obtain the ECS domain name ecs.sa-fb-1.type1.com, run the following commands:

      sed -i "s/^config.novaBaseUrl=.*/config.novaBaseUrl=https:\/\/ecs.sa-fb-1.type1.com\/v2.1\//g" /opt/ITA/tomcat/ita/WEB-INF/conf/system/System.properties

Check whether the modification is successful.

      grep novaBaseUrl /opt/ITA/tomcat/ita/WEB-INF/conf/system/System.properties

      3. Run the following command to obtain the VPC domain name:

      grep vpc /etc/hosts

4.Run the following command to write the VPC access address to the ITA configuration file. For example, to obtain the ECS domain name vpc.sa-fb-1.type1.com, run the following commands:

      sed -i "s/^config.neutronBaseUrl=.*/config.neutronBaseUrl=https:\/\/vpc.sa-fb-1.type1.com\/v2.0\//g" /opt/ITA/tomcat/ita/WEB-INF/conf/system/System.properties

Check whether the modification is successful.

      grep neutronBaseUrl /opt/ITA/tomcat/ita/WEB-INF/conf/system/System.properties

5.Log in to the management node FA-MGR-02 and repeat steps 2 and 4.
