Figure 2-4 shows the hosted desktop provisioning process of FusionCloud V100R006C10. Installing the FusionAccess components includes installing AD/DNS/DHCP, automatically installing cascaded ITA/GaussDB/HDC/WI/vAG/vLB, configuring AD/DNS/DHCP, and installing AntiVirus/Patch. Figure 2-5 shows the automated installation process.

The deployment and provisioning process of the desktop application on the FusionCloud V100R006C10 platform consists of resource pool preparation, automated deployment of tenant management nodes, and tenant desktop provisioning.

  • Resource pool preparation:
    • Software installation engineers define compute instance flavors of desktops.
    • Software installation engineers create desktop VM images based on the Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) image creation requirements.
    • Software installation engineers deploy global licenses components, global Backup Server and AutoInstall.
  • Tenant management node deployment:
    • System administrators create tenant VDCs and corresponding tenant administrator accounts.
    • System administrators (or carriers' support personnel use the tenant administrator accounts to) log in to the VM where AutoInstall resides.

Automated deployment creates resources, such as EVS, ECS, ELB, EIP, security groups, and firewalls. You need to call IAM, VPC, IMS, EVS, and interfaces published by ECS on the API Gateway. You also need to directly call the OpenStack Nova interface.

  • Tenant desktop provisioning:
    • Tenant AD domain administrators create end user accounts in the AD. (Skip this step if user accounts exist.)
    • Tenants (including tenant administrators) apply for ECS instances based on the ECS service process.
    • Tenant desktop administrators log in to the FusionAccess portal and provision user desktops by quickly importing computers (VDI).
