Configuring Alarm Components

Configuring Alarm Components

This section describes how to configure IP addresses and enable the alarm function of components on FusionAccess, and monitor components using FusionAccess.

  • When the customer's existing AD system is used, the customer ensures the reliability of AD, DNS, and DHCP. FusionAccess does not monitor these components, so this configuration task is not required.
  • When a new Windows AD, DNS, or DHCP server is used:
    • If you want to monitor alarms of the DNS or DHCP server or enable the DNS or DHCP backup, install a monitoring agent on the server.
    • If you want to monitor alarms of the AD server, enable status monitoring and install a monitoring agent on the server.

You have logged in to the current tenant's FusionAccess management system.

Configuring the AD alarm

  1. Log in to the current tenant's FusionAccess using a browser.

For details, see Logging In to FusionAccess.

  2. On the FusionAccess page of the current tenant, choose System > Initial Configuration > Domain/OU.
  3. In the Domain Configuration area, click in the Operation column.
