Quickly Importing VMs


This section describes how to provision a VM in import mode.


  • You have created VMs on OpenStack. The VMs to be imported can communicate with FusionAccess.
  • You have configured the browser, interconnected FusionAccess with OpenStack, and can enter the Quick Import page.
  • VMs created on OpenStack are listed in the unmanaged computers.
  • You have logged in to FusionAccess.


  1. On FusionAccess, click Quick Import.

    The Import Computer page is displayed.

  2. Set the service type to SBC.
  3. Select the domain name as required.
  4. Click Add in Computer list.

    The Select Computer page is displayed.

  5. Select the target computer and click OK.
  6. Create a VM group by customizing its name and description, or select an existing VM group from the drop-down list box.
  7. Configure the local area to which a VM belongs as required.
  8. Configure the OU to which the VM belongs as required.
  9. Click Next.

    The Assign Computer page is displayed.

  10. Select a desktop as required.
  11. Select an existing application group or customize an application group.
  12. Select a VM naming rule.
  13. Click Next.

    The Confirm page is displayed.

  14. Click Confirm if the information is correct.
