1.1.1.1 Data Model

The configuration model file matching ping is huawei-ping.yang.

Ping

Indicates that the operation request object is a ping-related configuration. It is only used to contain sub-objects, but does not have any data meaning.

/huawei-ping:ping/test-name

Indicates the name of a ping test.

/huawei-ping:ping/ipv4-ping/destination

Indicates the IP address or domain name to be tested.

The value is a string of 1 to 255 case-sensitive characters without spaces. If the string is enclosed in double quotation marks (" "), the string can contain spaces. The value can also be a valid IPv4 address in dotted decimal notation.

/huawei-ping:ping/ipv4-ping/source-ip-address

Indicates the source IP address.

The value can also be a valid IPv4 address in dotted decimal notation.

/huawei-ping:ping/ipv4-ping/count

Specifies the number of times for sending ICMP Echo Request messages.

The value is an integer in the range from 1 to 64. The default value is 5.

/huawei-ping:ping/ipv4-ping/packet-size

Specifies the length of an ICMP Echo Request message, excluding the IP header and ICMP header.

The value is an integer in the range from 20 to 9600, in bytes. The default value is 56.

/huawei-ping:ping/ipv4-ping/vpn-instance-name

Indicates the VPN instance name.The VPN instance has been created on the device.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.
