Public Image

Public Image

A public image is an image widely used by standard operating system. It contains an OS and pre-installed public applications and is visible to all users. You can configure the application or software in the public image as needed.

Based on the virtualization platform, public image can be classified into the following categories:

KVM image

Used to create public images virtualized with KVM

FusionCompute image

Used for creating FusionCompute virtualization public images.

VMware image

Used for creating the OpenStack image in the VMDK format when FusionSphere OpenStack is connected to VMware.
