Overview

Management plane hybrid cloud refers to the process of accessing, managing, and applying for public cloud resources over APIs to meet the requirements of expanding services to public clouds. Currently, management plane hybrid cloud can connect to HUAWEI CLOUD and allows users to manage and use HUAWEI CLOUD resources. Figure 6-46 shows the architecture of management plane hybrid cloud.

Management plane hybrid cloud provides the following functions:

  1. Manages the following seven types of HUAWEI CLOUD services:
    • Elastic Cloud Server (ECS)

      Supports quota management, resource application, resource use, power management, and information change of HUAWEI CLOUD ECSs.

    • Elastic Volume Service (EVS)

      Supports quota management, resource application, resource use, and information change of HUAWEI CLOUD EVS disks.

    • Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)

      Supports quota management, resource application, resource use, and information change of HUAWEI CLOUD VPCs.

    • Virtual Private Network (VPN)

      Supports quota management, resource application, resource use, and information change of HUAWEI CLOUD VPNs.

    • Elastic IP (EIP)

      Supports quota management, resource application, resource use, and information change of HUAWEI CLOUD EIPs.

    • Image Management Service (IMS)

      You can only query HUAWEI CLOUD images on ManageOne. ManageOne operation administrators can log in to the HUAWEI CLOUD management console to create images. Tenants can use the images on the ManageOne operation plane.

    • Security Group

      Supports quota management, resource application, resource use, and information change of HUAWEI CLOUD security groups.

  2. Supports operation functions such as hybrid cloud VDC management, quota management, product subscription, approval, and log management.
  3. Supports O&M functions such as hybrid cloud resource management, alarm management, performance management, report, and big screen display.
