Logging In to FusionAccess

Scenarios

This section describes how to log in to FusionAccess using the system network address to perform operations such as service provisioning, desktop management, and system management.

Impact on the System

This operation has no adverse impact on the system.

Preparations

Prerequisites

The FusionAccess portal supports the following types of browsers:
  • Internet Explorer 8 to Internet Explorer 11
  • Firefox 32 to Firefox 45
  • Google Chrome 37 to Google Chrome 51

Do not use browsers that are not listed here; otherwise, some buttons may be invalid and the GUI may be displayed abnormally.

Data

Data required for performing this operation:

  • Login address

    Value of "Administrator Portal" recorded in Performing an Automated Installation, for example, https://172.16.0.13:8448.

  • Username and password

    Username: admin; password: Cloud12#$

Procedure

  1. Open Internet Explorer on the local PC, enter the FusionAccess login address in the address box, and press Enter.
  2. Click Continue to this website (not recommended).

    The FusionAccess login page is displayed.

  3. Check whether the system displays a message indicating that the browser version does not meet requirements.

  4. Choose Tools > Compatibility View Settings.

    The Compatibility View Settings dialog box is displayed.

  5. Deselect Include updated website describes from Microsoft, Display Intranet sites in Compatibility View, and Display all websites in Compatibility View, and click Close.
  6. Close all the pages on Internet Explorer.
  7. Open Internet Explorer again and repeat Step 1 to Step 2.
  8. Check whether the system displays a message indicating that the browser version does not meet requirements.

  9. Press F12. On the menu bar of Developer Tools, set Browser Mode to Internet Explorer 8.

    Document Mode is automatically set to Internet Explorer 8 (Standards).

  10. Close Developer Tools.
  11. Select a language, enter the username and password, and click Login.

    Username: admin; password: Cloud12#$

    The FusionAccess portal is displayed, and no further action is required.

    NOTE:
    • If the FusionAccess portal cannot be displayed properly due to a certificate problem, see Configuring a Browser for Accessing FusionAccess to resolve the problem.
    • You will be asked to change the password upon your first login.

      The password must conform to the following rules:

      • Contains at least one uppercase letter (A to Z), one lowercase letter (a to z), one digit (0 to 9), and one space or special character (~!@#$%^&*()-_=+\|{};:'",<.>/?).
      • Contains 8 to 32 characters.
      • Cannot be the same as the recent three passwords.
      • Cannot contain the username or reversed username.
