Background

Background

FusionAccess is a virtual desktop application that provides Windows desktops and applications for users. Using this application, end users can access desired documents and applications on virtual desktops from any devices, including Windows and Mac computers, iOS and Android smart terminals, and thin clients (TCs). Virtual desktops enable users to access their desktops on demand anytime and anywhere, ensuing convenient user experience.

FusionCloud is an OpenStack-based open cloud platform. Based on the principle of 'intensively efficient, open and sharing, secure and reliable, and service on demand', FusionCloud implements unified construction and sharing of infrastructure, unified deployment of information systems, aggregation and sharing of data resources, and effective collaboration of service applications. Therefore, FusionCloud can provide strong support for enterprise management and public services. FusionCloud 6.3.x supports the non-SDN (VLAN mode) lightweight deployment mode and provides multiple value-added services such as the Virtual Data Center (VDC) and approval services. It is a cost-effective cloud service solution.

By deploying the FusionAccess desktop management software on the FusionCloud cloud platform, users can provision ECSs in cloud service mode and manage them as desktops to implement their cloud desktop services.

User roles of FusionCloud are based on the VDC model. The user roles described in this document are described in Table 1-1. For details, see FusionCloud 6.3.x Product Documentation.
