Disabling the CIFS Service
This section describes how to disable the CIFS service of a storage system.
Precautions
Before performing this operation, ensure that you do not need the CIFS service.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Settings >
Storage Settings > File Storage Service > CIFS Service.
- In CIFS Service, deselect Enable.
- Click Save.
The Warning dialog box is displayed.
- Confirm the information in the dialog box, select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.
The Success dialog box is displayed.
- Click OK.
