Viewing User Mappings
This operation enables you to view the created user mappings.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Provisioning >
User Authentication > User Mapping.
- Browse the user mapping information.Table 4-32 describes the related parameters.Table 4-32 User mapping parameters
Parameter Name
Description
ID
A user mapping ID.
Mapping Type
A user mapping type related to the operating system, including:
- Windows to Unix: When accessing UNIX shares using Windows, a Windows user has all the permissions granted to the target user.
- Unix to Windows: When accessing Windows shares using UNIX, a UNIX user has all the permissions granted to the target user.
Source User
Source user in a mapping.
Target User
Target user in a mapping.
Priority
When multiple mappings share the same source user, the system uses the mapping with the highest priority.
NOTE:Priority: A smaller number indicates a higher priority.
