Viewing CIFS Homedir Share Information

Prerequisites

A CIFS Homedir share has been created.

Procedure

1. Log in to DeviceManager.
2. Choose Provisioning > Share > CIFS Homedir.
3. In CIFS Homedir share list, view the CIFS Homedir share information.
   Table 4-24 describes the related parameters.

   Table 4-24 CIFS Share Information

   Parameter Name	Description
   Share Name	Name of the CIFS Homedir share.
   ID	ID of the CIFS Homedir share.
   Relative Directory	Relative directory of the CIFS Homedir share.
   Description	Description of the CIFS Homedir share.
   ABE	Whether the ABE function is enabled for the CIFS Homedir share.

4. In CIFS Homedir share list, select a CIFS Homedir share. In Users/User Groups tab, check the permission of the user or user group of this CIFS Homedir share.
   Table 4-25 describes the related parameters.

   Table 4-25 User/User group information

   Parameter Name	Description
   Name	Name of a user or a user group.
   ID	ID of share permission.
   Type	Type of a user or user group. The types include: Everyone Every user has the access permission. Local authentication user Authentication user created in the storage system. Local authentication user group Authentication user group created in the storage system. Domain user User in AD domain server. Domain user group User group in AD domain server.
   Permission Level	CIFS share access permission. The permissions include: Full control: A user or user group has all rights for the CIFS Homedir share. Read-only (default value): A user or user group only has read rights for the CIFS Homedir share. Read and write: A user or user group has read and write rights for the CIFS Homedir share. Forbidden: A user or user group is forbidden to access the CIFS Homedir share.

5. Click the Accessible IP Address/Address Segment tab. Query the IP addresses and IP address segments that are allowed to access the CIFS Homedir share.

6. Click the File Name Extension Filtering Rule tab. Query the file name extension filtering rule.

   ID	ID of the file name extension filtering rule
   File Name Extension	File name extension (file type) to be filtered
   Rule Type	Permission rules, including: Denied only: Users do not have permission to access files with the specified extension. Allowed only: Only files with the specified extension have access permission.

7. Click the CIFS Homedir Mapping Rule tab to view mapping rules of file system paths.
   Table 4-28 describes the related parameters.

   Username	User name of a CIFS Homedir mapping rule
   ID	ID of the CIFS Homedir mapping rule
   Share Path	Share Path consists of the values of File System, Quota Tree and Directory.
   Priority	Priority of the CIFS Homedir mapping rule
   AutoCreate	If AutoCreate is enabled but no relative directory exists under the CIFS Homedir share path. The system will automatically create a relative directory.
