Properly plan local authentication users or user groups for easy user permission control and management.
Local Authentication Users
Properly plan the following items for a local authentication user:
- User name
- Password and security policies
- Primary group
A user must and can only belong to one primary group.
- Secondary group
A user can belong to multiple secondary groups.
Local Authentication User Groups
You can assign different permissions for local authentication user groups. Users in a user group inherit the permissions of the user group.
